Challenge:

Hays High School's nearly decade-old black basemat track required attention to address aging issues. The track surface had developed cracks and was in need of a maintenance coating to restore its performance and extend its lifespan.

Solution:

To revitalize the track, the team cleaned, patched, and applied a black structural spray to the existing surface. A Conica SP base mat, a durable and cost-effective solution certified by the IAAF, was installed. To further enhance performance, a structural spray was applied over the base mat, extending the track's lifespan.
