Westside High School’s tennis courts had severe asphalt deterioration, widespread cracking, and areas where the surface was breaking down due to hydrostatic pressure. Some sections had loose clay material coming through the surface, creating difficult repair conditions before any coating work could begin.
The project was completed in two phases, with three courts resurfaced the first year and the remaining three courts resurfaced the following year. After seeing strong performance from the first phase, the goal was to mirror that same repair approach across the final three courts and restore all six courts with a consistent finish.
Pro Track & Tennis completed extensive surface preparation before resurfacing, including scraping damaged areas, addressing cracks, and applying binder patches where the asphalt had broken down. The team followed the repair approach used on the first three courts to stabilize the remaining surface areas before installing the new acrylic coating system.
All six courts were resurfaced with a classic grass green inbound playing area, red outbound zones, and fresh white striping. The finished result brought the full tennis facility back to life, giving Westside High School a cleaner, safer, and more playable court surface while extending the life of the existing asphalt courts.
