Our History

Pro Track and Tennis, Inc. is proud to operate as a family-owned business based out of the Midwest. Lance Laurent has been active in the track and tennis court resurfacing industry for over 20 years and proudly began Pro Track and Tennis, Inc. in 2005. Lance has extensive knowledge of the sports surfacing industry and has personally installed over 400 running track surfaces and just as many court surfaces.

Pro Track and Tennis, Inc. has been a proud member of the Provisional Division of the American Sports Builders Association since 2005.  The ASBA is a national organization for builders, designers, and suppliers of materials for tennis courts, running tracks, synthetic turf fields, indoor and outdoor synthetic sports surfaces.  It is recognized as a centralized source for technical information and construction guidelines.

U.S. Patent for Running Track Construction Equipment

Lance Laurent of Pro Track and Tennis, Inc. has designed, manufactured and patented a very unique piece of equipment for installing latex track systems.  The machine is made up of a synchronized drop spreader with a latex holding tank and a mechanical spray system.  The machine takes all the guesswork out of building a high quality latex track system.  The machine systematically, with a clutch drive, drops the exact amount of rubber while simultaneously sprays with liquid latex.  The system creates a wet lamination effect that completely eliminates dry spots in the system.  Hand raking dry rubber or dropping dry rubber out of a hand pushed fertilizer spreader followed by spraying with latex creates a risk of system failure due to dry spots.  Dry spots are similar to pouring water into a bowl of flour.  The water does not soak through and does not completely penetrate the flour.  The same thing happens with spraying over rubber dust.  The patented Pro Track and Tennis, Inc. equipment eliminates this risk and allows for a 100% encapsulated seamless system.
