Cave City High School Tennis Courts Get a Fresh Green and Red Finish

Location:
Cave City, AR
Facility Type:
Tennis Court
Challenge:
Cave City High School’s four concrete tennis courts had surface problems even though they were resurfaced about three years earlier. The coatings had become slick, with loose sand affecting playability. About 2,871 linear feet of mostly hairline cracking also needed repair.
Solution:
Our crew removed the deteriorating coatings down to bare concrete on Courts 2 and 3, completed 2,871 linear feet of crack repair and pressure washed all four courts. We then resurfaced them with an acrylic resurfacer and two color coats, grass green in-bounds and red out-of-bounds, and finished with fresh white tennis striping.
Taking two courts down to bare concrete gave the new acrylic system a better foundation. Cave City’s tennis facility now has restored courts with a better look and better playability.
