Tennis Court, Pickleball, and Running Track Contractors in Oklahoma
In 2025 we resurfaced courts at six City of Tulsa parks, and we’ve also worked on the running track at Bishop Kelley School in Tulsa. Anywhere in Oklahoma, our own crews build and resurface tennis and pickleball courts and running tracks, with no subcontractors.

How Oklahoma Weather and Clay Soil Wear Down Courts
Freezes, clay soil, and standing water do the damage to Oklahoma courts. Tulsa and Oklahoma City each average about 72 nights a year at 32°F or colder, and most of those days warm back above freezing, so cracks freeze and thaw again and again. In many parts of the state, clay soil shrinks as it dries, and the cracks work up through asphalt from below. Water left sitting in low spots wears a coating out sooner.
At Maxwell Park in Tulsa, three basketball courts sit on an aging asphalt base, and cracks had spread across the surface. Our crew ground down the uneven spots and fixed the birdbaths and cracks, then power washed the courts and finished them with a new acrylic coating system.
Weather also decides when the work can happen.
“We can’t install coatings below 60 degrees or on damp surfaces. For northern states, that means work windows are much shorter, mainly summer.”
Lance Laurent, President, Pro Track & Tennis

A night below 60°F rules out coating too, so Oklahoma’s window is mainly summer. Tulsa averages about 233 nights a year that are 60°F or colder in NOAA normals, yet no more than about 3 a month from June through August. May and June are Tulsa’s rainiest months, so a wet June can push work into July or August.

Tennis Courts We’ve Resurfaced in Oklahoma
We worked on tennis courts at three of the six City of Tulsa parks. At Aaronson Park, both tennis courts were resurfaced and restriped, and at Norvell Park we installed new tennis net posts. Holiday Hills Park’s tennis court shares its complex with four pickleball courts. Each park has its own project page below, so you can see our work before choosing tennis court builders in Oklahoma.
Every tennis job starts with an on-site assessment. See what tennis court resurfacing involves and how long it takes.
Pickleball Courts We’ve Resurfaced in Oklahoma
At Holiday Hills Park in Tulsa, four pickleball courts share a concrete complex with one tennis court. We power washed the courts, applied a new acrylic system in the park’s existing blue and green, and restriped the lines for both sports. It’s one of six City of Tulsa parks where we resurfaced courts. Beyond resurfacing, we work as pickleball court contractors in Oklahoma on new courts and tennis court conversions.

Running Track Work in Oklahoma
Our work as a running track contractor in Oklahoma includes the track at Bishop Kelley School in Tulsa and a track in Tecumseh. Tulsa’s normal July and August highs top 90°F, the upper limit of the American Sports Builders Association’s ideal range for installing polyurethane, and extreme heat can shorten productive work windows, so summer jobs need buffer time. Because Oklahoma has shrinking clay soils in many areas, new-track assessments check the soil first.

Basketball and Sport Court Projects in Oklahoma
For the City of Tulsa Parks, we resurfaced basketball courts at five parks. Maxwell Park’s three courts and Clark Park’s two full courts sat on aging asphalt with cracks across the surface, and at Admiral Park we repaired hairline cracks in the concrete. At Norvell Park we switched the basketball area to a full-court layout, and at Aaronson Park the basketball area was resurfaced along with the tennis courts. We take on sport court construction as well as resurfacing.

Where We’ve Worked in Oklahoma
Here’s where our crews have worked so far. Under each city is the court and track work we’ve done there.
Tulsa
For the City of Tulsa Parks, we resurfaced courts at six parks in 2025: tennis and basketball courts at Aaronson Park and Norvell Park, pickleball and tennis courts at Holiday Hills Park, and basketball courts at Maxwell Park, Admiral Park, and Clark Park. Our running track work in Tulsa is at Bishop Kelley School.
Shawnee and Tecumseh
We’ve done court work in Shawnee and running track work in Tecumseh.
What Our Clients Say
“A lot of these courts were heavily cracked, with faded paint and line work. Some hadn’t received attention in nearly 30 years, so they were in serious need of improvements.”

Common Questions From Oklahoma Facilities
Pro Track & Tennis does. We’re a tennis court contractor with our own in-house crews on every job, and we’ve been a Builder Member of the American Sports Builders Association since 2005. Our tennis jobs for the City of Tulsa Parks were at Aaronson, Holiday Hills, and Norvell parks. Tennis court construction and resurfacing jobs both start with a free on-site assessment.
Yes. We’ve worked on the track at Bishop Kelley School in Tulsa and on another in Tecumseh, and we take running track construction and resurfacing jobs across the state. A resurfacing usually takes 2 to 4 weeks, while a new track takes weeks to months, depending on scope.
Yes. At Holiday Hills Park in Tulsa, we resurfaced four pickleball courts and a tennis court, and we’ve resurfaced basketball courts at five other City of Tulsa parks. We also build new pickleball and sport courts, and we convert tennis courts to pickleball. Court jobs typically take 5 to 10 days once the crew arrives.
June through August is the most reliable window for acrylic court coatings. The surface has to be dry and at least 60°F, and the nights can’t drop below 60°F either. NOAA normals put Tulsa and Oklahoma City at no more than about 3 nights a month of 60°F or colder in June, July, and August, against half or more of May nights and more than a third of September nights. If you want a summer install, get your free assessment booked in the spring.
Winter freezes widen hairline cracks, and where shrinking clay sits under the asphalt, cracks can also start from below as the clay dries. The fix depends on the base. Once the asphalt itself is breaking up so badly that coatings won’t bond, repairs can’t hold, and the court has to be torn out and rebuilt. On a sound base, the ARMOR Crack Repair System is our standard repair: a membrane system that flexes as the base shifts. For courts, the ARMOR warranty runs five years. ARMOR goes in at about 300 linear feet per day.
