In St. Joseph, MO, the 12 tennis courts, built on asphalt more than 20 years ago, had last been resurfaced in 2019. With the surface beginning to show signs of wear, both the city and schools recognized the need to extend the life of the facility while keeping it safe and playable for students and the community. Timing was critical — the project had to fit within the current year’s budget and be scheduled around the busy school sports calendar.
