From Tennis to Pickleball: 8 New Pickleball Courts at Churchich Park

Tennis Court
City Park
Midwest

Location:

Churchich Park, NE

Facility Type:

Tennis Court

Challenge:

Churchich Park’s four concrete tennis courts were ready for a transformation to meet the growing demand for pickleball. While structurally sound, the bare concrete surfaces lacked the finish and playability required for the sport. The city had already invested in new fencing and shade structures, and now needed the courts themselves converted into a modern, player-friendly facility.

Solution:

Pro Track and Tennis converted the four tennis courts into eight dedicated pickleball courts. The process included cleaning the concrete, repairing cracks and bird baths, and priming the surface. We applied two coats of acrylic resurfacer and three coats of premium color, ensuring each layer was applied perpendicular to the previous for maximum durability and performance. The courts were then finished with precise pickleball game lines, delivering a vibrant, high-quality playing surface that complements the park’s new amenities. Today, Churchich Park offers a first-class pickleball facility designed to serve its community for years to come.
