George County High Gets a Brand-New Track Surface

Challenge:

George County High School's 8-lane running track had reached the point where it needed a complete surface renewal. There were no widespread cracks, but a structural spray crack ran across the track and a previously repaired sinkhole area was still a concern. With the surface showing its age, it had to be replaced before the upcoming track season.

Solution:

We installed a new track surface by removing the existing base mat and installing a new one. We then applied a new structural spray system in standard brick red and restriped the entire 8-lane, 400-meter track, including the runways, high jump area and chute.

The result is a completely renewed track built for years of competition and training. We completed the work over the school's winter break, so George County athletes had a ready facility when the spring track season began.
