Challenge:
Lake Norman Racquet Club’s two concrete tennis courts and six pickleball courts in Mooresville, North Carolina had extensive cracking and surface imperfections. About 1,073 linear feet of cracks ran across the facility, and low spots were affecting play. The club needed repairs and a fresh surface to keep playing conditions at the standard its members expect.
Solution:
Our crew resurfaced all eight courts, starting with 1,073 linear feet of crack repair using the ARMOR Crack Repair System. We corrected surface imperfections and low spots, then applied acrylic resurfacer and fresh acrylic color coatings. The new colors are dark navy blue in-bounds with a dark green surround, and the work extended into the surrounding apron areas. The team paid close attention to clean finishing around the fencing, and the club stayed open to members throughout construction.
The result is a uniform, professional-looking racquet facility with a durable crack repair in place.
