Solon Community Park Opens a Vibrant 12-Court Complex
Location:
Solon, OH
Facility Type:
Pickleball Court | Tennis Court
Challenge:
Solon Community Park was getting a major recreational upgrade: 10 new pickleball courts, plus the conversion of four existing pickleball courts back into two tennis courts. The project needed new court surfaces, updated net post systems and fresh striping so the park could serve both sports.
Solution:
We surfaced all 12 courts, 10 for pickleball and two for tennis, with surface preparation, patching, acrylic resurfacing and two coats of color. The tennis courts feature blue in-bounds and classic green out-of-bounds. The pickleball courts have blue playing areas, terra cotta kitchens and classic green out-of-bounds. We also installed 10 pickleball and two tennis net post systems and finished with fresh white striping.
The result is a vibrant, modern 12-court complex for the Solon community. New pickleball courts and restored tennis courts expand recreational opportunities, and the contrasting terra cotta kitchens give the facility a distinctive look.
